Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Stroestii's Cornel Zdrelea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ove Bergstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornel Zdrelea's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornel Zdrelea in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Bergstedt saved MIFA from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in MIFA's zone, Cornel Zdrelea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Bergstedt came out of the goal and Cornel Zdrelea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MIFA! The referee gave Stroestii a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gheorghe Zdrobiş, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MIFA's Ove Bergstedt. 0-1. MIFA's Ove Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Zdrelea in the 23rd minute of play. Cornel Zdrelea took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Bergstedt. Ove Bergstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Patrick Bamford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Adam Chițan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Bamford fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 41st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Ove Bergstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Toma, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Cornel Zdrelea charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Zdrelea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stroestii getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cornel Zdrelea hit a great ball. After the first half Stroestii were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Bamford was the one to do the kick off. Ove Bergstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornel Zdrelea in the 51st minute. In the 60th minute, Cornel Zdrelea made a precise shot to the right of Ove Bergstedt. MIFA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After having played for 63 minutes, Patrick Bamford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIFA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Bamford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th play minute Cornel Zdrelea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ove Bergstedt. 0-6. Cornel Zdrelea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ove Bergstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Vasile Crăiță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MIFA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stroestii the free kick. Vasile Crăiță hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in MIFA's zone, Cornel Zdrelea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Bergstedt came out of the goal and Cornel Zdrelea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cornel Zdrelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Bamford fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 87th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Ove Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Toma in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Cornel Zdrelea notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of MIFA's Ove Bergstedt. Ove Bergstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stroestii's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
