Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferdinand Ciomag started the match with the kick off. Francisc Joja struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Fabian Donici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balacia. Ion Crivoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 minutes, David Hrebenciuc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sighet CF -MM- and the Balacia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Balacia's Cristinel Podgoreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, Sighet CF -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Arghirescu to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Sighet CF -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Joja came free, but Fabian Donici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Francisc Joja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabian Donici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ionică Şoimu's late challenge caught a Sighet CF -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionică Şoimu helped the player get up and apologised. Ionică Şoimu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Ciprian Mihădaș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciprian Mihădaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ülo Lehemets having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisc Joja kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Donici. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Ciprian Mihădaș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ülo Lehemets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adulfo Sobera kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ionică Şoimu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Francisc Joja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisc Joja was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Francisc Joja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Donici was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Fabian Donici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Crivoi in the 58th minute of play. When Balacia's Ion Crivoi in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sighet CF -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st match minute, Sighet CF -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Arghirescu to maneuver through the defense. Ion Crivoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Donici having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Sighet CF -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Elenescu. After having played for 65 minutes, Ion Crivoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balacia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Crivoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Francisc Joja got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Fabian Donici was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fabian Donici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Crivoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ion Crivoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ion Crivoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fabian Donici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Francisc Joja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Fabian Donici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th match minute, Sighet CF -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Bîndean to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Sighet CF -MM- defense, Ion Crivoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Donici. The Sighet CF -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Donici should have stopped the shot. Francisc Joja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Donici having to interfere. Ion Crivoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Donici having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Balacia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
