Spectators: 7684 (Terracing: 5764, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gelu Frântu started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sorin Bordeanu during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes FC Brasov got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Bordeanu. Gelu Frântu took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petru Budianu. Petru Budianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Miheș in the 15th minute of play forced A.C.Milan Iași's goalkeeper Aurel Dragomiroiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Dragomiroiu made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Malcolm Johnston sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Malcolm Johnston got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lucero Yestes short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Aurel Dragomiroiu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aurel Dragomiroiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucero Yeste's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, FC Brasov's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Vornicescu came free, but Petru Budianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.C.Milan Iași's Aurel Dragomiroiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save A.C.Milan Iași from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes FC Brasov got a freekick which was hit by Lucero Yeste. 40 minutes into the match, Malcolm Johnston dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurel Dragomiroiu, 2-1. In the 46th minute Aristide Brădescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Budianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucero Yeste made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Lucero Yeste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C.Milan Iași's Aurel Dragomiroiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute Lucero Yeste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Dragomiroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Dragomiroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucero Yeste in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Codrin Sava fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Petru Budianu, passed just outside the right post. FC Brasov's Petru Budianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Sava in the 61st minute of play. Malcolm Johnston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurel Dragomiroiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucero Yeste's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Lucero Yeste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Dragomiroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Malcolm Johnston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Brasov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Johnston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petru Budianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Brădescu in the 78th minute of the match. A.C.Milan Iași's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristide Brădescu in the 84th minute. The corner led A.C.Milan Iași's Aristide Brădescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Petru Budianu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to FC Brasov getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dumitru Stana hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, FC Brasov's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Brădescu came free, but Petru Budianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Feteanu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With his leg Petru Budianu managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when A.C.Milan Iași's Gelu Frântu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of A.C.Milan Iași booed when FC Brasov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Ispas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petru Budianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gelu Frântu in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Gelu Frântu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Budianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Brasov support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
