After some careless play in the F.C.Progresul Timisoara defense, Călin Luțu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remus Trăistaru. The F.C.Progresul Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Trăistaru should have stopped the shot. F.C.Progresul Timisoara's Remus Trăistaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Mineață in the 8th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Ionel Gafița heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ernest Cudalb managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Progresul Timisoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Cudalb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosmin Astafei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remus Trăistaru didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Valentin Mineață shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Valentin Mineață put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Remus Trăistaru. When Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Aristide Vâtcă in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Valentin Mineață recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Valentin Mineață in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C.Progresul Timisoara's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to F.C.Progresul Timisoara getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Emil Zaharia hit a great ball. Paul Zburliş kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jonny Doro, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Brisca Sarasau -MM- were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florin Ecobescu to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dorel Şerban reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remus Trăistaru. The goal made the score 0-6. With his leg Remus Trăistaru managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Valentin Mineață fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Panait Maniu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.Progresul Timisoara's protests and gave Panait Maniu a yellow card for diving instead. F.C.Progresul Timisoara:s Remus Trăistaru showed great skill when he stopped Jonny Doro:s penalty. Valentin Mineață in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Remus Trăistaru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Brisca Sarasau -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Valentin Mineață looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 89 played minutes, Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Jonny Doro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remus Trăistaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brisca Sarasau -MM- reached it. Remus Trăistaru made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Valentin Mineață sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute of the match, Valentin Mineață got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remus Trăistaru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Remus Trăistaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Mineață's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. With his leg Remus Trăistaru managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Eric Dănciulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 97 minutes into the game, Brisca Sarasau -MM-'s Valentin Mineață nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remus Trăistaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Brisca Sarasau -MM- played a much better game than F.C.Progresul Timisoara and deserved their victory. The F.C.Progresul Timisoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
