Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cornel Zdrelea kicked off to start the match. Tihamér Fazekas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornel Zdrelea in the 6th minute. Cornel Zdrelea made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 26thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Tihamér Fazekas would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Apetroaiei in the 27th minute of play forced Stroestii's goalkeeper Adam Chițan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Turcotte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Chițan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Liviu Hațegan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Stroestii's Adam Chițan. Adam Chițan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adam Chițan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Turcotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yane Marinov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Liviu Hațegan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adam Chițan. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Cătălin Ţintea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stroestii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viitorul F.C. the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Viitorul F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Frântu to maneuver through the defense. Adam Chițan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Hațegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ştefan Toma kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Stroestii's Adam Chițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yane Marinov in the 76th minute of play. Adam Chițan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yane Marinov in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Viitorul F.C.'s Maurício Turcotte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adam Chițan. Adam Chițan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 96 minutes into the game, Viitorul F.C.'s Yane Marinov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Chițan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The Stroestii fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Viitorul F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
