When Damian Iorda fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Viitorul Șieu's protests and gave Damian Iorda a yellow card for diving instead. Gelu Iordache was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rumen Bogatev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Eusebiu Zdrelea hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Fc.Berceni got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Zdrelea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Barbăsură in the 15th minute of play forced Fc.Berceni's goalkeeper Marius Aaland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Iordache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Maleș in the 18th minute of play. Vintilă Oroveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Iordache having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Moșneanu in the 27th minute of play forced F.C. Viitorul Șieu's goalkeeper Gelu Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Viitorul Șieu's goalkeeper Gelu Iordache, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of F.C. Viitorul Șieu booed when Fc.Berceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Maleș didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc.Berceni's Ovidiu Nestor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gelu Iordache. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. After 38 minutes of play, Fc.Berceni's Vintilă Oroveanu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Iordache was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Fc.Berceni's Marcu Maleș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gelu Iordache. Gelu Iordache yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Moșneanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marius Aaland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Barbăsură, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Ilie Fecioru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Barbăsură might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Aaland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilian Barbăsură ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute Vintilă Oroveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Iordache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Fc.Berceni's Vintilă Oroveanu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Iordache was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilie Fecioru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marius Aaland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vintilă Oroveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vintilă Oroveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc.Berceni's supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Oroveanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Iordache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costel Voicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Aaland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Barbăsură, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Fc.Berceni's Marius Aaland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Fc.Berceni from getting a goal against them. F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Gelu Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Moșneanu in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Fc.Berceni players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
