Paul Târban's late challenge caught a FC Tumpika's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Târban helped the player get up and apologised. Paul Târban kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, FC Bujoreni's goalkeeper Nicodim Malcocea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavius Ivasiuc. 15 minutes into the match, FC Bujoreni's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Tătăruşanu came free, but Nicodim Malcocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Bujoreni's Nicodim Malcocea got control of the ball when Horia Vlaicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bujoreni's zone, Flavius Ivasiuc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicodim Malcocea came out of the goal and Flavius Ivasiuc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olimpiu Iftode stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Târban's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Nicodim Malcocea made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Flavius Ivasiuc sent off a good shot on target. Nicodim Malcocea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Tătăruşanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bujoreni's Cornel Georgescu got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergiu Tătăruşanu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Nicodim Malcocea 36 minutes into the match. Nicodim Malcocea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavius Ivasiuc in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, Sergiu Tătăruşanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavius Ivasiuc in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodim Malcocea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Târban made a kick off. In the 51st minute Flavius Ivasiuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Malcocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paul Târban came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Bujoreni fans jumped to their feet. Olimpiu Iftode was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Tătăruşanu in the 64th minute of play forced FC Bujoreni's goalkeeper Nicodim Malcocea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 66 in the game by Paul Târban from a close distance when the talented Olimpiu Iftode managed to make a qualified save. FC Tumpika's players were relieved. Olimpiu Iftode made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandru Prisecaru in the 68th minute. Horia Vlaicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicodim Malcocea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Tătăruşanu in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, FC Bujoreni's Paul Târban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
