Spectators: 7627 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) -PSC- Borea AFC's Tudor Bebeșel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valer Ciolofan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Fecioru in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Emilian Barbăsură who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -PSC- Borea AFC's Valer Ciolofan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Tudor Bebeșel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Iordache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Fecioru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Ciolofan having to interfere. Doru Dumitrachescu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Emilian Barbăsură sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in -PSC- Borea AFC's zone, Aron Voineag stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valer Ciolofan came out of the goal and Aron Voineag tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in -PSC- Borea AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The referee gave F.C. Viitorul Șieu a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luca Vişan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of -PSC- Borea AFC's Valer Ciolofan. 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, -PSC- Borea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Fecioru came free, but Valer Ciolofan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half F.C. Viitorul Șieu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Emilian Barbăsură made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Ilie Fecioru made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valer Ciolofan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valer Ciolofan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Barbăsură in the 65th minute of play. Dumitru Marincean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gelu Iordache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Bebeșel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Iordache having to interfere. In the 79th minute Tudor Bebeșel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Iordache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Emilian Barbăsură took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Valer Ciolofan to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Bebeșel in the 85th minute of play forced F.C. Viitorul Șieu's goalkeeper Gelu Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Voineag hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to -PSC- Borea AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nichifor Ţirpescu hit a great ball. F.C. Viitorul Șieu were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after -PSC- Borea AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luca Vişan took the corner. F.C. Viitorul Șieu played a much better game than -PSC- Borea AFC and deserved their victory. The -PSC- Borea AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
