Iurie Burghelea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Cismaș went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Dunărea Călăraşi's Gheorghe Gușatu got a free kick in the 12th minute. Vali Sfetcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marius Radovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Mustăcilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cotormany's Nae Rădvan got a free kick in the 35th minute. Iurie Burghelea came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunărea Călăraşi's 巩军国. But to his dismay, 巩军国 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 40th minute Aristide Vuia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Burghelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Marian Mustăcilă notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Cotormany's Iurie Burghelea. Iurie Burghelea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the match, Dunărea Călăraşi's Maxim Cismaș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iurie Burghelea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marius Radovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Măgură, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Niculae Ionășescu fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunărea Călăraşi's protests and gave Niculae Ionășescu a yellow card for diving instead.
