In the 17th minute Gigel Romaşcanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Iacobeanu in the 19th minute of play forced Campina's goalkeeper Evaristo Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Ionuț Cândroveanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Brumă. -PSC- FC STEAUA08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionuț Cândroveanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Cândroveanu got free with Albert Brumă in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Campina's Albert Brumă threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vintilă Bidulescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38th minute Leonard Pătrașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Brumă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Campina's Vintilă Bidulescu got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of -PSC- FC STEAUA08 booed when Campina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Cândroveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vintilă Bidulescu took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Brumă. Albert Brumă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ionuț Cândroveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Brumă having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Șerban Miclescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, -PSC- FC STEAUA08's goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Bidulescu came free, but Albert Brumă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonard Pătrașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Campina's Evaristo Argina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Campina from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Argina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeriu Manea in the 79th minute. Albert Brumă came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Campina's Vintilă Bidulescu. But to his dismay, Vintilă Bidulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Albert Brumă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionuț Cândroveanu went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Albert Brumă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Cândroveanu in the 94th minute of the match. -PSC- FC STEAUA08's George Iacobeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Campina were the better team. Campina's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
