An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Dacian Bogrea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 9th match minute, Cotormany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Rădvan to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ioan Arapașu sped through Cotormany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iurie Burghelea. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ioan Arapașu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ac.Calvagese.Husi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ioan Arapașu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iurie Burghelea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 played minutes Cotormany got a freekick which was hit by Vali Sfetcu. In the 23rd minute, Ioan Arapașu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ioan Arapașus short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Iurie Burghelea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the game, Martin Robescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cotormany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ac.Calvagese.Husi the free kick. The supporters of Ac.Calvagese.Husi booed when Cotormany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Robescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ioan Arapașu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Iurie Burghelea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Cotormany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ac.Calvagese.Husi:s goal. With a little luck, Cotormany's Iurie Burghelea got control of the ball when Ioan Arapașu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cotormany's zone, Ioan Arapașu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Burghelea came out of the goal and Ioan Arapașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Fecioru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Burghelea having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Ioan Arapașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ac.Calvagese.Husi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ioan Arapașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cotormany's zone, Cristinel Mușătescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Burghelea came out of the goal and Cristinel Mușătescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vali Sfetcu to make the kick off. Cristinel Mușătescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Iurie Burghelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Vali Sfetcu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristian Onofrei. The goal made the score 2-1. Cristinel Mușătescu struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Iurie Burghelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ac.Calvagese.Husi. Cotormany's Iurie Burghelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Arapașu in the 63rd minute of play. Ivan Nisipeanu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Iurie Burghelea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ioan Arapașu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Nisipeanu during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ioan Arapașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Iurie Burghelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Fecioru kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Cotormany's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Arapașu came free, but Iurie Burghelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iurie Burghelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Arapașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valeriu Brănet during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iurie Burghelea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ioan Arapașu's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. If Cristinel Mușătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Băbescu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Ioan Arapașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Burghelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costin Măgură during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cotormany getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Costin Măgură hit a great ball. Ac.Calvagese.Husi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
