George Păunescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, -Bucovina Siret-'s Matei Costăchescu got a free kick in the 9th minute. YR☆ FCSB's Costel Mateescu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of YR☆ FCSB booed when -Bucovina Siret- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Boc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24th play minutes Costel Mateescu shot 2-0, a short shot which went by George Păunescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Costel Mateescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. YR☆ FCSB's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 32 in the game by Costel Mateescu from a close distance when the talented George Păunescu managed to make a qualified save. -Bucovina Siret-'s players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sámuel Szűrös got free with George Păunescu in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Ivan Dragnea's late challenge caught a -Bucovina Siret-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Dragnea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to YR☆ FCSB getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ivan Dragnea hit a great ball. Sámuel Szűrös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. George Păunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, YR☆ FCSB's Filip Leucuța nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Păunescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 66 minutes into the game, Sámuel Szűrös was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YR☆ FCSB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -Bucovina Siret- the free kick. In the 68th minute Costel Mateescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Păunescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Costel Mateescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -Bucovina Siret-'s George Păunescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Dragnea couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Costel Mateescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. YR☆ FCSB's supporters rose to their feet, but Costel Mateescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Păunescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the game, YR☆ FCSB's Costel Mateescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Păunescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. George Păunescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Mateescu's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. YR☆ FCSB's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
