If Costin Blidaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Vergulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Nișu in the 8th minute of the match. Damian Vergulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Bălanescu in the 15th minute. Lucian Mareș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Cirlanesti's Robert Crișan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Robert Crișan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cirlanesti protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Robert Crișan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 20 minutes into the game, one of Cirlanesti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Uileac a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gelu Minteuan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cirlanesti's Damian Vergulescu. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurel Bălanescu got free with Damian Vergulescu in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damian Vergulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Nișu in the 30th minute of play. Eliodor Bobariu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Damian Vergulescu made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Emilian Ivăncioiu in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cirlanesti's Petrică Bărboianu. Cirlanesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Eliodor Bobariu scored to the left of an out of position Damian Vergulescu, making the score, 3-0. In the 45th minute of the match Iurie Irod sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Vergulescu skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliodor Bobariu got free with Damian Vergulescu in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vlad Nișu to strike the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the match, Cirlanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Nișu came free, but Damian Vergulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Cartiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Aurel Bălanescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Vergulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Damian Vergulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Bobariu in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Aurel Bălanescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Vergulescu. Cirlanesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Bălanescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Aurel Bălanescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cirlanesti's Damian Vergulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Caba in the 82nd minute of play. When Emilian Ivăncioiu came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Uileac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilian Ivăncioiu couldn't finish the play. Eliodor Bobariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Vergulescu having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Eliodor Bobariu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Vergulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Martin Bărbătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uileac's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Bărbătescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Vergulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uileac's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
