In the 3rd minute Liviu Zubaşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Păunescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Păunescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Zubaşcu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. When Panait Mihaiu fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -Bucovina Siret-'s protests and gave Panait Mihaiu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute of the match Dariusz Czubski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Păunescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Tiberiu Boc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liviu Zubaşcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Păunescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. George Păunescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liviu Zubaşcu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Liviu Zubaşcu let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 27th minute shot 4-0 at rihgt post. Liviu Zubaşcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. George Păunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Cornel Brânzeu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -Bucovina Siret-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uptown Otters the free kick. George Păunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Zubaşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 37th play minutes Liviu Zubaşcu shot 5-0, a short shot which went by George Păunescu and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Zubaşcu in the 44th minute of play forced -Bucovina Siret-'s goalkeeper George Păunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Păunescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Kaszubowski in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornel Brânzeu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabian Kaszubowski took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Păunescu. George Păunescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manole Paraschiv during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to -Bucovina Siret- getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Manole Paraschiv hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Zubaşcu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Păunescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in -Bucovina Siret-'s zone, Rolando Tearle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Păunescu came out of the goal and Rolando Tearle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Uptown Otters's Fabian Kaszubowski in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -Bucovina Siret-'s goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the -Bucovina Siret- defense, Fabian Kaszubowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Păunescu. The -Bucovina Siret- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Păunescu should have stopped the shot. Uptown Otters made a substitution. Staffan Bergman replaced Karl-Oskar Jonsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Zubaşcu in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Păunescu saved -Bucovina Siret- from getting behind. Staffan Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes -Bucovina Siret- got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Brânzeu. In the 95th minute of the match Rolando Tearle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Păunescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, -Bucovina Siret-'s Narcis Sasu got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Uptown Otters were the better team. Uptown Otters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
