After a defensive mix-up in Cirlanesti's zone, Sever Pop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Vergulescu came out of the goal and Sever Pop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narcis Sasu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Damian Vergulescu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cirlanesti's Eugen Aanicăi got a free kick in the 14th minute. -Bucovina Siret-'s Matei Costăchescu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Grigore Antim in the 15 minute of the game. 18 minutes into the game, -Bucovina Siret-'s Cornel Brânzeu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Vergulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Sever Pop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Novăceanu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Pop got free with Damian Vergulescu in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Narcis Sasu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manole Paraschiv could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Damian Vergulescu made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucian Mareș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luca Novăceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Narcis Sasu managed to get in a good position for a shot. -Bucovina Siret-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Sasu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Vergulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Novăceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Vergulescu having to interfere. Damian Vergulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Novăceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Sever Pop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Cartiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Ţăranu having to interfere. Cornel Brânzeu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Olimpiu Ţăranu was a little too slow when Lucian Mareș got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 92nd minute, Luca Novăceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to -Bucovina Siret- getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Narcis Sasu hit a great ball. Cirlanesti succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though -Bucovina Siret- had controlled the match.
