Spectators: 7727 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucian Mareș made the kick off which started today's match. When Vintilă Mareș came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the CF Padureni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Mareș couldn't finish the play. Vintilă Mareș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Vergulescu having to interfere. Cirlanesti's Petrică Bărboianu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sabin Potra in the 12 minute of the game. Andrei Rebengiuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Vergulescu having to interfere. Andrei Rebengiuc struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Damian Vergulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Padureni. Sabin Potra got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andrei Rebengiuc. Andrei Rebengiuc kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Valeriu Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as CF Padureni's Vintilă Mareș slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Vergulescu. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cirlanesti's zone, Narcis Sârbu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Vergulescu came out of the goal and Narcis Sârbu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrei Rebengiuc struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Damian Vergulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Padureni. After 46 played minutes CF Padureni got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Mareș. Cirlanesti's Damian Vergulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Cirlanesti from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ferdinand Cartiș took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Crăciunaș. Paul Crăciunaș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 65th minute, Mihăiţă Savu made a precise shot to the right of Damian Vergulescu. Cirlanesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Nistor Isaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Damian Vergulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Cirlanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Rebengiuc came free, but Damian Vergulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cirlanesti's goalkeeper Damian Vergulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Sabin Potra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valeriu Baba charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valeriu Baba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee ended the match the CF Padureni players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
