Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dragoş Corbea kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Gantaga's Doru Vernescu got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Gantaga defense, Vintilă Mareș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigi Panțâru. The Gantaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigi Panțâru should have stopped the shot. Gigi Panțâru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Mareș in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, CF Padureni's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Corbea came free, but Paul Crăciunaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doru Vernescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dragoş Corbea hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gantaga's Emanuel Ignat got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Glenn Burrell came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the CF Padureni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glenn Burrell couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Andrei Rebengiuc made a precise shot to the right of Gigi Panțâru. Gantaga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Paul Crăciunaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Corbea in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, Gantaga's Petru Rizescu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Crăciunaș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vintilă Mareș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gigi Panțâru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrei Rebengiuc to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Andrei Rebengiuc got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gigi Panțâru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vintilă Mareș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigi Panțâru having to interfere. Glenn Burrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigi Panțâru having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Toader Teodoreanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gantaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Padureni the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Gantaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Teodoreanu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gantaga's Edgar Stere got a free kick in the 59th minute. Paul Crăciunaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Vernescu in the 62nd minute of play. CF Padureni's Paul Crăciunaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Corbea in the 67th minute of play. Paul Crăciunaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Vernescu in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Mihai Cigu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CF Padureni's Paul Crăciunaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Ignat in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Petru Rizescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as CF Padureni's Andrei Rebengiuc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigi Panțâru. That made the score 1-4 after 77 minutes of play. Gantaga's Remus Hulubei was substituted for Dragoş Corbea. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CF Padureni! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Stere in the 91st minute of play forced CF Padureni's goalkeeper Paul Crăciunaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toader Teodoreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. CF Padureni's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
