After a rather tough play, Ciuntesti's Ovidiu Deliman got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ilie Comarnescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Mateescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Dorin Bocaneț got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 14th minute, Ivan Dragnea made a precise shot to the right of Ilie Comarnescu. Ciuntesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Costel Mateescu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ilie Comarnescu. If Dorin Bocaneț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costică Dersidan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ciuntesti's Ilie Comarnescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Mateescu in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Costel Mateescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ilie Comarnescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dorin Bocaneț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ionel Hurezeanu made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Ciuntesti's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Mateescu came free, but Ilie Comarnescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costel Mateescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Costel Mateescu sped through Ciuntesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ilie Comarnescu. Costel Mateescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Comarnescu having to interfere. If Dorin Bocaneț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half YR☆ FCSB were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorin Bocaneț stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ciuntesti's Marcel Maleș got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Costel Mateescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ilie Comarnescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ilie Comarnescu managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when YR☆ FCSB's Costel Mateescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the match, Costel Mateescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilie Comarnescu, 0-5. Costel Mateescu in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ilie Comarnescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sámuel Szűrös fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Comarnescu having to interfere. The Ciuntesti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching YR☆ FCSB's performance. The match ended with a win for YR☆ FCSB.
