When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucian Mareș made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for YR☆ FCSB! When the match had been going on for 53 minutes, Cirlanesti's Petrică Bărboianu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ionel Hurezeanu. The Cirlanesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Vergulescu should have stopped the shot. Damian Vergulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Mateescu in the 96th minute of play.
