He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Yep reached it. Cornel Gherasim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Sticlaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RealMadrid's Ivan Vlaicu got a free kick in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, RealMadrid's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Bîndean came free, but Cornel Gherasim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Mihai Sticlaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Yep's Kevin Klaasen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Yep from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute Moise Mustață shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Gherasim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Sticlaru got free with Cornel Gherasim in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Nicodim Marchiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. RealMadrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodim Marchiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Klaasen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, RealMadrid's goalkeeper Cornel Gherasim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moise Mustață. Moise Mustață succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 77th playminute. FC Yep's Kevin Klaasen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Bulgar in the 80th minute of play. Moise Mustață who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Cornel Gherasim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Moise Mustață had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornel Gherasim. RealMadrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moise Mustață was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. If Răzvan Bulgar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornel Gherasim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihai Sticlaru went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. If Nicodim Marchiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Răzvan Bulgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
