Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5772, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 150) Robert Lepuș started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Basil's Narcis Murgescu got control of the ball when Tudor Lepuș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Robert Lepuș scored to the left of an out of position Narcis Murgescu, making the score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Robert Lepuș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Murgescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Narcis Murgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lepuș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Dragoş Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Chihaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivopataka's Andrei Chihaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Grozuță in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Iustin Ilarie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narcis Murgescu. Iustin Ilarie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Basil's Dragoş Elenescu in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ivopataka's goalie prevented a goal. Andrei Chihaia came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Basil's Dragoş Elenescu. But to his dismay, Dragoş Elenescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Dragoş Elenescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Andrei Chihaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narcis Murgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lepuș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Lepuș got free with Narcis Murgescu in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tudor Lepuș's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Narcis Murgescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 47th match minute, Ivopataka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Pivniceru to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dragoş Elenescu was the one to do the kick off. Narcis Murgescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Lepuș in the 52nd minute of play. Narcis Murgescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Lepuș, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dragoş Elenescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrei Chihaia having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tudor Lepuș during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Ivopataka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Olăroiu to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Zbughină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tudor Lepuș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Basil's Dragoş Elenescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrei Chihaia. Andrei Chihaia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. 78 minutes into the match, Basil's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Lepuș came free, but Narcis Murgescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Dragoş Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Chihaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ivopataka's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Elenescu came free, but Andrei Chihaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
