Andrei Chihaia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Zbughină went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Costin Nițisor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Chihaia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Lepuș in the 79th minute of play forced Basil's goalkeeper Narcis Murgescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cătălin Pivniceru fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ivopataka's protests and gave Cătălin Pivniceru a yellow card for diving instead. Cătălin Pivniceru kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Narcis Murgescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Filip Ganea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Murgescu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cristian Zbughină managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basil's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Zbughină was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Chihaia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
