Rareș Ştercă came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by UPB FC's Ulpiano Herbruger. But to his dismay, Ulpiano Herbruger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to UPB FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ulpiano Herbruger hit a great ball. Benfica FC's Rareș Ştercă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Pășcuțoiu in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Cămătaru in the 12th minute of play forced Benfica FC's goalkeeper Rareș Ştercă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulpiano Herbruger scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rareș Ştercă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Matei Şunda in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Benfica FC's Aurelian Spârlea. After 19 minutes of play, Benfica FC's Filip Pârcălab made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vintilă Minda was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Benfica FC's goalkeeper Rareș Ştercă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulpiano Herbruger. In the 85th minute Vali Encea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Ştercă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Pârcălab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Minda having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Eliodor Cămătaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rareș Ştercă was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-2. UPB FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
