Ferdinand Rizescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dinu Mereuță was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bratieni getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dinu Mereuță hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes, Sepsi OSK's Remus Balțoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinand Rizescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sepsi OSK reached it. If Marcel Obregia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Stelian Balint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th play minute Barnaba Bartochowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ferdinand Rizescu. 3-0. Stelian Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Kasprzak got free with Ferdinand Rizescu in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Sepsi OSK's Iacob Dabija dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Marcel Obregia struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ferdinand Rizescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sepsi OSK. When Stelian Balint fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bratieni's protests and gave Stelian Balint a yellow card for diving instead. Stelian Balint hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Bratieni's Ferdinand Rizescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Bratieni from getting a goal against them. After 48 played minutes Iacob Dabija rounded Bratieni's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandru Creteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Iacob Dabija ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdinand Rizescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The supporters of Sepsi OSK booed when Bratieni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Gligan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bratieni's Ferdinand Rizescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Obregia in the 59th minute of play. Ferdinand Rizescu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Sepsi OSK's Barnaba Bartochowski. But to his dismay, Barnaba Bartochowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Ferdinand Rizescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barnaba Bartochowski went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the match, Barnaba Bartochowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Rizescu. Bratieni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnaba Bartochowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 74 minutes into the match, Bratieni's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Bartochowski came free, but Ferdinand Rizescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Marcel Obregia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Rizescu. Bratieni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Obregia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. The Sepsi OSK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0.
