Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iacob Zgabei got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Eliodor Cămătaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UPB FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliodor Cămătaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to UPB FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sergiu Ştefănoiu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Iacob Zgabei could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Vintilă Minda however easily saved by the left post. When Iacob Zgabei came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Dezesti CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iacob Zgabei couldn't finish the play. If Ulpiano Herbruger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Dezesti CF's Gigel Dordea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vintilă Minda. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. With a little luck, UPB FC's Vintilă Minda got control of the ball when Doru Mercea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Doru Mercea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vintilă Minda. The goal made the score 2-0. UPB FC's Vintilă Minda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save UPB FC from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Dezesti CF's Gigel Dordea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vintilă Minda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 29th minute of the match, Gigel Dordea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vintilă Minda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th minute, Dezesti CF's Iacob Zgabei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Dezesti CF's Doru Mercea got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lucrețiu Bistreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, UPB FC's Vali Encea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ilie Dridu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UPB FC reached it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliodor Cămătaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucrețiu Bistreanu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eliodor Cămătaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ilie Dridu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Nichifor Ieremia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Minda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of UPB FC booed when Dezesti CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Mercea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Dridu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulpiano Herbruger in the 58th minute. UPB FC's Vintilă Minda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Dordea in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Gigel Dordea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Minda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Mercea in the 71st minute of play forced UPB FC's goalkeeper Vintilă Minda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Gigel Dordea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Vintilă Minda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulpiano Herbruger struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ilie Dridu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UPB FC. Ulpiano Herbruger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ilie Dridu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Narcis Crăiță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dezesti CF and the UPB FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dezesti CF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Narcis Crăiță hit a great ball. Vintilă Minda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Mercea went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the UPB FC defense, Doru Mercea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vintilă Minda. The UPB FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vintilă Minda should have stopped the shot. Vintilă Minda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Mercea in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, UPB FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Mercea came free, but Vintilă Minda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dezesti CF's Ilie Dridu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Pășcuțoiu in the 93rd minute of play. Gigel Dordea took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vintilă Minda. Vintilă Minda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0.
