Narcis Murgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Balint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Zbughină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bratieni booed when Basil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Nițisor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Rizescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dragoş Elenescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 21 minute of play. Bratieni's Ferdinand Rizescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Bratieni from getting a goal against them. Narcis Murgescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Balint, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dragoş Elenescu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Stelian Balint's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narcis Murgescu was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Costin Nițisor struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ferdinand Rizescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basil. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Zbughină kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinand Rizescu. That made the score 2-2 in the 44 minute of play.

The wind increased when Dragoş Elenescu made the kick off in the second half. Bratieni's Ferdinand Rizescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Elenescu in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Bratieni getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mădălin Gligan hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Cazimir Grozuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Rizescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Stelian Balint left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bratieni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. A collision led to Basil getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Avram Tărbac hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Nicolae Brumaru notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Basil's Narcis Murgescu. Narcis Murgescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bratieni had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
