In the 6th match minute, Basil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Calini to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Golescu in the 9th minute of play forced Basil's goalkeeper Narcis Murgescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Zbughină kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Narcis Murgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Dăscălescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Ilinca scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narcis Murgescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Remus Neața ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Murgescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Narcis Murgescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Golescu went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Grigore Ilinca hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Costin Nițisor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basil's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Nițisor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Buta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, S -77's Mugur Alexandru got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marin Buta made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Cristian Zbughină sent off a good shot on target. S -77's Marin Buta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save S -77 from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Mugur Dăscălescu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Basil's Narcis Murgescu. Narcis Murgescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narcis Murgescu came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by S -77's Mugur Dăscălescu. But to his dismay, Mugur Dăscălescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Narcis Murgescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Neața in the 43rd minute of the match. Remus Neața scored 0-7 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narcis Murgescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half S -77 were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dragoş Elenescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Mugur Alexandru lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in S -77 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Basil a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Costin Nițisor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S -77's Marin Buta. 1-7. When Rareș Isărescu fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Basil's protests and gave Rareș Isărescu a yellow card for diving instead. Corneliu Ţugui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Narcis Murgescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, S -77's Remus Neața ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narcis Murgescu. Narcis Murgescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. Aurel Golescu took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narcis Murgescu. Narcis Murgescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Elenescu in the 70th minute of play forced S -77's goalkeeper Marin Buta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Remus Neața reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narcis Murgescu. The goal made the score 1-10. Marin Buta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Elenescu in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Remus Neața lined in a short shot 1-11 behind a frustrated Narcis Murgescu. The crowd rose to their feet as S -77's Aurel Golescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narcis Murgescu. That made the score 1-12 after 83 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurel Golescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narcis Murgescu. That made the score 1-15 in the 95 minute of play.
