Spectators: 7599 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliodor Cămătaru started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Ilarie during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vali Coraș struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Andrei Chihaia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UPB FC. Eliodor Cămătaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Andrei Chihaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vintilă Minda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Lepuș, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Vintilă Minda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lepuș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, UPB FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lepuș came free, but Vintilă Minda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes Ivopataka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vali Encea who took care of the corner kick. Ivopataka's Andrei Chihaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Cămătaru in the 22nd minute of play. UPB FC's Eliodor Cămătaru got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vali Coraș was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vali Coraș might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrei Chihaia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vali Coraș ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrei Chihaia came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by UPB FC's Vali Encea. But to his dismay, Vali Encea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vali Encea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Andrei Chihaia made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Ulpiano Herbruger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andrei Chihaia. The goal made the score 3-0. UPB FC's Vintilă Minda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Lepuș in the 46th minute of play. Virgil Pășcuțoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Lepuș was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, İsa Şerhenk made a precise shot to the right of Andrei Chihaia. Ivopataka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 56 minutes into the match, Virgil Pășcuțoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Chihaia. Ivopataka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgil Pășcuțoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a rather tough play, UPB FC's Virgil Pășcuțoiu got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Ivopataka's Nicu Lupșoiu got a free kick in the 61st minute. Andrei Chihaia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vali Encea went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. UPB FC's Virgil Pășcuțoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ivopataka's Tudor Lepuș got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Ulpiano Herbruger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Andrei Chihaia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrei Chihaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Pășcuțoiu in the 78th minute of play. If Sergiu Ştefănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Eliodor Cămătaru put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Andrei Chihaia. The supporters of Ivopataka booed when UPB FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Pășcuțoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Lepuș took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vintilă Minda. Vintilă Minda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. The supporters of Ivopataka booed when UPB FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Pășcuțoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes of play, UPB FC's Eliodor Cămătaru made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrei Chihaia was left in no man's land by his defense there! UPB FC's Vali Encea has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 94th minute. Virgil Pășcuțoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Andrei Chihaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UPB FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
