Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dan Godeanu made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Godeanu got free with Andrei Ciucă in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Pânzariu during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicolae Pânzariu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Andrei Ciucă was a little too slow when Dan Godeanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 16th minute, Ioan Brânza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Costel Lepuș. Andrei Ciucă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Firea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Firea in the 21st minute of play forced Tautau's goalkeeper Andrei Ciucă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Ciucă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Hoduț in the 23rd minute. Andrei Ciucă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Godeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Dan Godeanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrei Ciucă, 2-0. Tautau's Andrei Ciucă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Brânza in the 34th minute of play. Andrei Ciucă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Firea in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Tautau's goalkeeper Andrei Ciucă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Hoduț. 39 minutes in the game Cazimir Mohora did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cosmin Chiriță. Horaţiu Ispir struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Manuel Lăcătuș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tautau. In the 44th minute, Costel Lepuș sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tautau's Andrei Ciucă didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horaţiu Ispir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Hoduț in the 56th minute of play forced Tautau's goalkeeper Andrei Ciucă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Dan Godeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Ciucă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Ciucă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Godeanu in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Hoduț in the 67th minute of play forced Tautau's goalkeeper Andrei Ciucă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Republica Ploiești's Manuel Lăcătuș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Republica Ploiești from getting a goal against them. Ioan Brânza scored 3-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrei Ciucă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrei Ciucă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Godeanu in the 73rd minute of the match. Emanuel Firea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Godeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Republica Ploiești's Codrin Traianescu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Andrei Ciucă came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Republica Ploiești's Dan Godeanu. But to his dismay, Dan Godeanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some careless play in the Tautau defense, Dan Godeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrei Ciucă. The Tautau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrei Ciucă should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Republica Ploiești fully deserved thier win.
