Gică Cârnațiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gică Cârnațiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 김 즙 went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gică Cârnațiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 즙 in the 15th minute of play. When Alex Team's 김 즙 in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herla's goalie prevented a goal. Gică Cârnațiu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Alex Team's 김 즙. But to his dismay, 김 즙 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-5 when 김 즙 sped through Herla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gică Cârnațiu. In the 31st match minute, Herla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Bordeanu to maneuver through the defense. Gică Cârnațiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 즙, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 김 즙 in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gică Cârnațiu saved Herla from getting behind. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-6 when 김 즙 sped through Herla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gică Cârnațiu. The Alex Team fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Alex Team's 김 즙 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liviu Lucaci was the one to do the kick off. Gică Cârnațiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 김 즙's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Calistrat Bordeanu fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herla's protests and gave Calistrat Bordeanu a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Team's Virgil Achifoaiei was substituted for Manuel Arruda. A hard shot by Cornel Bodiu from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Gică Cârnațiu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 60 minutes into the game, Pascual Acosta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Herla's Calistrat Bordeanu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Alex Team getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cornel Bodiu hit a great ball. If Virgil Achifoaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Herla's Gică Cârnațiu got control of the ball when 김 즙 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herla's Gică Cârnațiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Herla from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 김 즙 in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gică Cârnațiu saved Herla from getting behind. When 김 즙 came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Alex Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 즙 couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Ricardo Erosa notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Herla's Gică Cârnațiu. Gică Cârnațiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 김 즙 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Cârnațiu having to interfere. Calistrat Bordeanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 김 즙 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gică Cârnațiu made a huge save. When the match was over Alex Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herla throughout the match.
