The referee ignored Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s protests and gave Rareș Hârtopanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Veveritele Ucigase -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Hârtopanu. Fc Braila's Laurențiu Nițu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Mavrogheni in the 19th minute of play. Lucian Logofătu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Bogatu having to interfere. Fc Braila's Lucian Logofătu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lucian Logofătu came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Fc Braila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Logofătu couldn't finish the play. If Eliodor Lăceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Eliodor Lăceanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Veveritele Ucigase -MM- support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
