Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paul Răuţă kicked off to start the match. In the 13th minute Nechifor Podgoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gică Cârnațiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasile Bocaneț took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Budianu. Ernest Budianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Ikalewicz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Berbesul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Ikalewicz to maneuver through the defense. Herla's Gică Cârnațiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Lozovan in the 30th minute of play. With his leg Gică Cârnațiu managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Berbesul's Paul Răuţă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mihăiţă Brezeanu scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Budianu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernest Budianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Cârnu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Liviu Lucaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Budianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Calistrat Bordeanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernest Budianu was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 42 minutes into the game, Herla's Liviu Lucaci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernest Budianu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Calistrat Bordeanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 55 minute of play. 60 minutes in the game Cristinel Merișor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Calistrat Bordeanu. After a rather tough play, Berbesul's Nechifor Podgoreanu got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ernest Budianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Lucaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petruț Liviu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calistrat Bordeanu in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Budianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, Herla's Irinel Cârnu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernest Budianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Ernest Budianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Lucaci in the 76th minute of play. Herla's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
