After having played for 16 minutes, Basarab Bântu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Basarab Bântu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Basarab Bântu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matei Bogatu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Dascălu in the 21st minute of play. Ionel Ghiciușca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horaţiu Gherdan having to make a save. In the 24th match minute, FC Xander was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Paveliuc to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Mugurel Donecea sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Xander's Horaţiu Gherdan didn't even have to move. Basarab Bântu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Gherdan having to interfere. Ionel Ghiciușca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Ionel Ghiciușca notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Xander's Horaţiu Gherdan. Horaţiu Gherdan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Odobescu made a kick off. Basarab Odobescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Matei Bogatu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Xander booed when Veveritele Ucigase -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Hârtopanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Basarab Odobescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matei Bogatu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Horaţiu Gherdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Bântu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Dumitru Feraru kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, FC Xander's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Ghiciușca came free, but Horaţiu Gherdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
