Lucian Logofătu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ion Chificeac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ricardo Erosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 35 played minutes Alex Team got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Bodiu. Fc Braila's Laurențiu Nițu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 즙 in the 39th minute of play. During the 39th minute of the match Răzvan Cordescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Răzvan Cordescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Fc Braila getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Răzvan Cordescu hit a great ball. Fc Braila's Laurențiu Nițu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Fc Braila from getting a goal against them. Fc Braila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Cornel Bodiu scored to the left of an out of position Laurențiu Nițu, making the score, 2-0. Cornel Bodiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 김 즙 made a kick off. Adam Abrudan took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurențiu Nițu. Laurențiu Nițu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 61 minutes into the game, 김 즙 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Laurențiu Nițu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adam Abrudan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laurențiu Nițu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Lucian Logofătu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Abrudan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Alex Team booed when Fc Braila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Lăceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornel Bodiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laurențiu Nițu. Fc Braila's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Irinel Boaru's late challenge caught a Alex Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Boaru helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Fc Braila defense, Ricardo Erosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurențiu Nițu. The Fc Braila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurențiu Nițu should have stopped the shot.
