FC Strug Iaslovat's Florian Schmeisser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Cojocaru in the 10th minute of play. Eloy Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tiberiu Zamfirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carloman's zone, Horia Balaban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Zamfirescu came out of the goal and Horia Balaban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pompiliu Ursulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pompiliu Ursulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute Horia Balaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Zamfirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Florian Schmeisser successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Horaţiu Spânu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. FC Strug Iaslovat's Horaţiu Spânu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nichifor Mitrea, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Horia Balaban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Zamfirescu having to interfere. Horia Balaban struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tiberiu Zamfirescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Strug Iaslovat. When Horaţiu Spânu came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Strug Iaslovat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Spânu couldn't finish the play. If Horia Balaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Lucrețiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Zamfirescu having to interfere. FC Strug Iaslovat's Florian Schmeisser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Cojocaru in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 55 minutes of play, Carloman's Gabriel Macrea made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Schmeisser was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Strug Iaslovat's Florian Schmeisser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Cojocaru in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Spânu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Zamfirescu. Carloman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horaţiu Spânu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Tiberiu Zamfirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Balaban, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Florian Schmeisser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Craia in the 75th minute of play. After 75 played minutes FC Strug Iaslovat got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Spânu. 77 minutes into the match, FC Strug Iaslovat's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Cojocaru came free, but Florian Schmeisser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Schmeisser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Astafiei, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. FC Strug Iaslovat played a much better game than Carloman and deserved their victory. The Carloman players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
