Tautau's Andrei Ciucă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Tautau from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the game, Vali Ardeleanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tautau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herla the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Liviu Lucaci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrei Ciucă. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Irinel Cârnu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irinel Cârnu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liviu Lucaci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrei Ciucă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Lucaci in the 52nd minute of play. Andrei Ciucă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tautau's Vali Ardeleanu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Andrei Ivănescu, made in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Cârnu in the 91st minute of play forced Tautau's goalkeeper Andrei Ciucă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Tautau's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Lucaci came free, but Andrei Ciucă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vali Ardeleanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Tautau's Vali Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Herla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
