FC Xander's Horaţiu Gherdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Spânu in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of FC Xander booed when FC Strug Iaslovat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Mitică didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Gherdan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eloy Feo sent off a good shot on target. If Eloy Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Basarab Odobescu made a precise shot to the right of Florian Schmeisser. FC Strug Iaslovat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 39th minute, Horia Balaban made a precise shot to the right of Horaţiu Gherdan. FC Xander's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Eloy Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Gherdan having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, FC Xander's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Balaban came free, but Horaţiu Gherdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot was a little too simple and Florian Schmeisser could save by the left post. Filip Grama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Florian Schmeisser made a huge save. Florian Schmeisser was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Virgil Mineață capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Virgil Mineață really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 68th minute Basarab Odobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Schmeisser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Strug Iaslovat's Irinel Lucrețiu got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Xander had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
