Toader Hojbota was left in no man's land by his defense there! Călin Lucrețiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Matei Bogatu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Călin Lucrețiu during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Varbilau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Lucrețiu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Bântu in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toader Hojbota saved Varbilau from getting behind. Vintilă Mavrogheni's late challenge caught a Varbilau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vintilă Mavrogheni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Veveritele Ucigase -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Mavrogheni to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Basarab Bântu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Bântu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Varbilau booed when Veveritele Ucigase -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Mavrogheni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toader Hojbota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

After a rather tough play, Varbilau's Mugurel Lera got a free kick in the 86th minute. Toader Hojbota came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s Ionel Ghiciușca. But to his dismay, Ionel Ghiciușca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Mugurel Manafu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Varbilau fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Veveritele Ucigase -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
