F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halinga the free kick. In the 27th minute, Bai Xi Jing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Dragotescu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Dragotescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Halinga got a freekick which was hit by David Dragotescu. With a little luck, Halinga's Zeus Phoenix got control of the ball when Mariano Pavone tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Bai Xi Jing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeus Phoenix was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Denis Constantiniu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilian Ferenț having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iurie Bucataru made a kick off. 52 minutes in the game, Bai Xi Jing dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Bucataru in the 56th minute of play forced F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Emilian Ferenț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilian Ferenț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Bucataru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Constantiniu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Emilian Ferenț made a huge save. Shekwodiza Opeyemi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Emilian Ferenț made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bai Xi Jing in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeus Phoenix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emilian Ferenț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shekwodiza Opeyemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Denis Constantiniu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emilian Ferenț firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Bai Xi Jing got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Iurie Bucataru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Ferenț having to interfere. Mariano Pavone might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeus Phoenix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Pavone ran back to his position shaking his head. 97 minutes into the match, Bai Xi Jing notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Halinga's Zeus Phoenix. Zeus Phoenix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, F.C.DrobetA-Știința- could leave the field as winners, despite Halinga having more of the ball for most of the match.
