Rudarie UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavius Trandafir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Secară breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10thth minute of the game Laurențiu Arghir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rudarie UFC's Albert Vârjean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Năsturel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Albert Vârjean skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Albert Vârjean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Arghir in the 17th minute of the match. Dan Năsturel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Albert Vârjean when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicu Secară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Târban, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dragoş Baicu scored 1-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Secară, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alin Târban kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Rudarie UFC's Albert Vârjean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Rudarie UFC from getting a goal against them. In the last second Albert Vârjean throw himself and got hold of the ball when Laurențiu Arghir in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Dan Năsturel in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albert Vârjean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Albert Vârjean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Concordia Chiajna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rudarie UFC were winning 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurențiu Arghir to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Silviu Afloarei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Vârjean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Ionică Rădescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silviu Afloarei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Vârjean having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Năsturel in the 62nd minute of play forced Rudarie UFC's goalkeeper Albert Vârjean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concordia Chiajna's Laurențiu Arghir got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dan Năsturel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Vârjean came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Concordia Chiajna's Laurențiu Arghir. But to his dismay, Laurențiu Arghir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Năsturel in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Vârjean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rudarie UFC's zone, Dorel Timofte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Vârjean came out of the goal and Dorel Timofte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Laurențiu Arghir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Năsturel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Concordia Chiajna getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Silviu Afloarei hit a great ball. When Dorel Timofte came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Concordia Chiajna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorel Timofte couldn't finish the play. Concordia Chiajna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
