Spectators: 7436 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Moise Ştiubei got the match started through his kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Mihăiţă Brumă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 6 minutes into the game, Marcu Moromete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CFR Cluj the free kick. In the 6th minute, Marcu Moromete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelian Hurezeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mihăiţă Brumă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CFR Cluj's Mihăiţă Brumă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save CFR Cluj from getting a goal against them. Nechifor Zbârciog hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, CFR Cluj's Dorel Barboni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vlad Gogu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Manau getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Florin Capșuneanu hit a great ball. Vlad Gogu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Ştiubei in the 25th minute of play. If Moise Ştiubei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Manau booed when CFR Cluj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Dabija didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mircea Bocaneț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manau's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Bocaneț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihăiţă Brumă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Moise Ştiubei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vlad Gogu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Adam Drăgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mihăiţă Brumă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorel Barboni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Gogu having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Drăgan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mihăiţă Brumă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Capșuneanu in the 52nd minute of play. Mihăiţă Brumă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Hurezeanu in the 56th minute of the match. Adam Drăgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mihăiţă Brumă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, CFR Cluj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Pânzaru to maneuver through the defense. Stelian Hurezeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mihăiţă Brumă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlad Gogu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Ştiubei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes CFR Cluj got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Dragota. The Manau fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Manau's Mircea Bocaneț looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adam Drăgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Brumă having to interfere. Adam Drăgan might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihăiţă Brumă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Drăgan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ştefan Oargă kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Mircea Bocaneț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Brumă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Adam Drăgan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 90 minutes into the match, Stelian Hurezeanu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of CFR Cluj's Mihăiţă Brumă. Mihăiţă Brumă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Drăgan in the 94th minute of play forced CFR Cluj's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Brumă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Manau players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
