Spectators: 7792 (Terracing: 5845, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emilian Blăniță got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Tineretul Arad's Gerson Guimarães got a free kick in the 4th minute. POMPIERII Bv.'s Petrică Pantiș couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tineretul Arad. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Eugen Alupoaie took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Maxim Zâncă to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, POMPIERII Bv.'s Claudiu Pop got a free kick in the 11th minute. Maxim Zâncă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Alupoaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Maxim Zâncă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Cruceru went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugen Alupoaie in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxim Zâncă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurel Neaga hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A long shot from Felix Negrescu in the 30th minute of play was well struck, but Maxim Zâncă made a really good save at the right post. Iustin Dudea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Buhuș, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Eugen Alupoaie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Eugen Alupoaie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tineretul Arad's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Alupoaie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxim Zâncă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Tineretul Arad's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Buhuș came free, but Iustin Dudea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Iulian Buhuș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustin Dudea was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Emilian Blăniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Alupoaie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

If Eugen Alupoaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Virgil Tărâţă fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored POMPIERII Bv.'s protests and gave Virgil Tărâţă a yellow card for diving instead. Virgil Tărâţă hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Emilian Blăniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience held their breath when Felix Negrescu in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Maxim Zâncă's left hand side. Petrică Pantiș kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Tineretul Arad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Negrescu in the 69th minute. Felix Negrescu scored 5-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxim Zâncă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, one of Tineretul Arad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tineretul Arad. Eugen Alupoaie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxim Zâncă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Blăniță in the 83rd minute of play. POMPIERII Bv.'s Aurel Neaga got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Aurel Neaga off the ground. Eugen Alupoaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Zâncă having to interfere. Maxim Zâncă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Blăniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Maxim Zâncă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Alupoaie in the 93rd minute of play. Emilian Blăniță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tineretul Arad's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
