After some careless play in the Dezesti CS defense, Octav Leucuța kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ion Dănescu. The Dezesti CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ion Dănescu should have stopped the shot. Ion Dănescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octav Leucuța in the 14th minute. Dacian Manu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Dănescu having to interfere. When Octav Leucuța came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Zabrautii SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Leucuța couldn't finish the play. Octav Leucuța might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ion Dănescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octav Leucuța ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute of the match, Dacian Manu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ion Dănescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dacian Manu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Zabrautii SC booed when Dezesti CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Gherasim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ion Dănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Manu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Cocea made a kick off. In the 61st minute, Mădălin Măcriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Manu in the 70th minute of play forced Dezesti CS's goalkeeper Ion Dănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Răzvan Ilica hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Basarab Spoială from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Vlad Ghimpu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 80 minutes into the game, Zabrautii SC's Dacian Manu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ion Dănescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 84th minute Octav Leucuța shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Dănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Zabrautii SC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Zabrautii SC's Dacian Manu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Leucuța in the 94th minute of play forced Dezesti CS's goalkeeper Ion Dănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Manu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ion Dănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zabrautii SC had played much better football throughout.
