Spectators: 6767 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Denis Scaeru got the match started through his kick off. Ion Dănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Scaeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Matei Bujor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Dănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Scaeru in the 14th minute of play forced Dezesti CS's goalkeeper Ion Dănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sever Apostu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. In the 23rd match minute, Ebendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Avacariței to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ebendorf's zone, Aron Cocea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Boroș came out of the goal and Aron Cocea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aron Cocea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dezesti CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Cocea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Boroș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd match minute, Ebendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Postolache to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Denis Scaeru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ion Dănescu. Dezesti CS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Scaeru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ion Dănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Tudor in the 40th minute of the match. When Romeo Stroiescu fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dezesti CS's protests and gave Romeo Stroiescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 minutes, Horia Gherasim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dezesti CS and the Ebendorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Denis Scaeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dezesti CS's Sever Apostu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ebendorf's Denis Scaeru in the 63rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ion Dănescu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Dezesti CS through an amazing save. Ion Dănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Bujor in the 70th minute of the match. Sever Apostu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Isac Boroș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sever Apostu struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Isac Boroș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dezesti CS. If Denis Scaeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Scaeru struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ion Dănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ebendorf. Ion Dănescu came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ebendorf's Denis Scaeru. But to his dismay, Denis Scaeru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Matei Bujor might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ion Dănescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matei Bujor ran back to his position shaking his head. Ebendorf's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
