With 6 minutes on the clock, Petrică Filipașcu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Laurențiu Crăiță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mihai Ghișe made a huge save. Mihai Ghișe came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Overdrive FC's Laurențiu Crăiță. But to his dismay, Laurențiu Crăiță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 30th minute, Octav Surdu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valeriu Şunda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 34th minute, Anton Negruț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valeriu Şunda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 39th minute Octav Surdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Şunda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Emilian Traian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurențiu Crăiță to make the kick off. Augustin Iftimescu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Dan Mitescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Şunda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeriu Şunda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Negruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Valeriu Şunda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octav Surdu in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Serediu defense, Laurențiu Crăiță kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihai Ghișe. The Serediu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihai Ghișe should have stopped the shot. Cătălin Ioanițiu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Serediu's Octav Surdu got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to Serediu getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Octav Surdu hit a great ball. Mihai Ghișe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Crăiță in the 87th minute of play. Laurențiu Crăiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mihai Ghișe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valeriu Şunda made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Octav Surdu sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Eliodor Gruescu with Dan Mitescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Valeriu Şunda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Negruț in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Serediu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Overdrive FC throughout the match.
