The The Sharks Constanta fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when The Sharks Constanta's Juliusz J.J. looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Artur Prohorov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, CS Botosani BTF's Horia Bogrea got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Juliusz J.J. got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihai Zegreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz J.J., who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to CS Botosani BTF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alex Tarcu hit a great ball. After the first half The Sharks Constanta were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, The Sharks Constanta's Artur Prohorov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Mihai Zegreanu came out of the goal and Călin Calini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 played minutes, The Sharks Constanta's Iordache Crețulescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mihai Zegreanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Sharks Constanta reached it. After a defensive mix-up in CS Botosani BTF's zone, Juliusz J.J. stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihai Zegreanu came out of the goal and Juliusz J.J. tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, CS Botosani BTF's goalkeeper Mihai Zegreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juliusz J.J.. When the final whistle sounded The Sharks Constanta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CS Botosani BTF.
