Spectators: 7730 (Terracing: 5799, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) Gimbas's Șerban Cioacă started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Alexiu in the 5th minute of play forced Grindasi's goalkeeper Silvian Anghel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Oprișan got free with Mugur Logofeteanu in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 姜岚振 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Logofeteanu having to interfere. Silvian Anghel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Alexiu in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grindasi's Mugurel Inculeț got a free kick in the 13th minute. Șerban Cioacă struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Silvian Anghel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimbas. Cosmin Alexiu scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvian Anghel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mugur Logofeteanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ion Oprișan in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, Gimbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Alexiu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Cordearo in the 25th minute of play forced Gimbas's goalkeeper Mugur Logofeteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Oprișan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Mugur Logofeteanu made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Ion Oprișan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugur Logofeteanu. Gimbas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ion Oprișan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Grindasi's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Necula came free, but Silvian Anghel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugur Logofeteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Mugur Logofeteanu was a little too slow when Delmiro Cordearo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Cordearo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mugur Logofeteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Cordearo in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Grindasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Inculeț to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gimbas's Cosmin Alexiu got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 61st match minute, Grindasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Crăciunaș to maneuver through the defense. Mugurel Inculeț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Logofeteanu having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Delmiro Cordearo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Logofeteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Mugur Logofeteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姜岚振 in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th minute Delmiro Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Logofeteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Gimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Inculeț came free, but Mugur Logofeteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugur Logofeteanu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grindasi's Mugurel Inculeț. But to his dismay, Mugurel Inculeț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Marin Romoşan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Gimbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Zdrobiş to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Oprișan in the 95th minute of play forced Gimbas's goalkeeper Mugur Logofeteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grindasi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gimbas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
