After a rather tough play, C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s Valer Frânculescu got a free kick in the 12th minute. Overdrive FC's Emilian Traian got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Gigi Andronescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Grigore Bârsan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Overdrive FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s Grigore Bârsan got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Laurențiu Crăiță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Overdrive FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Laurențiu Crăiță sped through C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iosif Nicolae. 36 minutes into the match, Emilian Traian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iosif Nicolae. C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilian Traian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With 46 minutes on the clock, Petrică Filipașcu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th minute, Petrică Filipașcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s Corneliu Ispir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valeriu Şunda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doru Terzian to make the kick off. Valeriu Şunda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Boieraș in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s goalkeeper Iosif Nicolae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurențiu Crăiță. 58 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Crăiță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Iosif Nicolae was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Overdrive FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Emilian Traian hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Emilian Boieraș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Valeriu Şunda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Boieraș in the 71st minute of play forced Overdrive FC's goalkeeper Valeriu Şunda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valeriu Şunda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Moțoc in the 74th minute of the match. Emilian Boieraș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurențiu Crăiță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Overdrive FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Octav Cănănău hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Corneliu Ispir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valeriu Şunda skillfully saved the ball. Valeriu Şunda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Boieraș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Overdrive FC got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Iftimescu. Valeriu Şunda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Moțoc, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Overdrive FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Overdrive FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
