Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Tarcu started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, CS Botosani BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Panțâru came free, but Mihai Zegreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Jienescu in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Zegreanu saved CS Botosani BTF from getting behind. Mihai Zegreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Jienescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. CS Botosani BTF's Mihai Zegreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Andronescu in the 8th minute of play. Eric Avramescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Laurențiu Nacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabin Jienescu charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabin Jienescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s Sabin Jienescu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Mihai Zegreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Bârsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Dragoş Vochin fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CS Botosani BTF's protests and gave Dragoş Vochin a yellow card for diving instead. Grigore Bârsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s zone, Alex Tarcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Nacu came out of the goal and Alex Tarcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Avramescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Laurențiu Nacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigi Andronescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Zegreanu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Bârsan in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Zegreanu saved CS Botosani BTF from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After having played for 56 minutes, Gigi Andronescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigi Andronescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grigore Bârsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eric Avramescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, CS Botosani BTF's goalkeeper Mihai Zegreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigore Bârsan. Eric Avramescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Laurențiu Nacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihai Zegreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigore Bârsan in the 76th minute. If Gigi Andronescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes CS Botosani BTF got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Onaca. After having played for 91 minutes, Grigore Bârsan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Bârsan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Gigi Andronescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mihai Zegreanu, passed just outside the right post. 98 minutes into the match, Grigore Bârsan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mihai Zegreanu, 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.S Uzu Darmanesti ☆STD☆ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
