Horia Bogrea helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CS Botosani BTF's Horia Bogrea got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Caraiman in the 15th minute of play forced CS Botosani BTF's goalkeeper Mihai Zegreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CS Botosani BTF's Mihai Zegreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save CS Botosani BTF from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute of the match FC Rapid Micesti got a corner. CS Botosani BTF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dumitru Postelnicu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dumitru Postelnicu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mihai Zegreanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olimpiu Buteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Tarcu in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, FC Rapid Micesti's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Tarcu came free, but Olimpiu Buteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Rapid Micesti getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Felix Voinea hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Vlad Caraiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rapid Micesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Vlad Caraiman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Zegreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Vlad Caraiman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mihai Zegreanu. The goal made the score 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, FC Rapid Micesti's Vlad Caraiman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihai Zegreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Olimpiu Buteanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Avramescu in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Caraiman in the 58th minute of play forced CS Botosani BTF's goalkeeper Mihai Zegreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlad Caraiman took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihai Zegreanu. Mihai Zegreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 63rd minute, Vlad Caraiman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Manole Ţăranu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Rapid Micesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 73rd minute Alex Tarcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Buteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Rapid Micesti getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Manole Ţăranu hit a great ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Vlad Caraiman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CS Botosani BTF's Mihai Zegreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, CS Botosani BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Ţăranu came free, but Mihai Zegreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vlad Caraiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Vlad Caraiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Zegreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, CS Botosani BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Caraiman came free, but Mihai Zegreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Rapid Micesti had played much better football throughout.
